Višeslav Laboš
Višeslav Laboš (b. 1978. in Zagreb, Croatia) is mainly interested in hybrid musical expressions between the popular disco culture and turntable experiments. He got involved in music in the early 90's, playing the bass in bands like Fresh Woo Paper and Spleen, and by the late 90's he started dj-ing. Working with the Multimedia Institute Mi2 in Zagreb he initiated the first “dj workshop” in Croatia in 2001. and he also co-organized the first Creative Commons festival in the world “Sloboda Stvaralaštvu (Freedom To Creativity)” in 2005. That year he also started collaborating with Dragan Pajić Pajo and Mario Kovač at the festival “Dani multimedijalne improvizacije (Multimedia Improvisation Days)”, and he also joined the collective Impromondays. He also works as a music producer and dj promoter of the Creative Commons label Egoboo.bits.
Višeslav Laboš (r. 1978. u Zagrebu) se prije svega zanima za hibridne izričaje između popularne disko kulture i eksperimenta na gramofonima. Počeo se baviti glazbom početkom devedesetih svirajući bas gitaru u bendovima Fresh Woo Paper i Spleen, a krajem devedesetih počinje se baviti dj-ingom. U sklopu Multimedijalnog Instituta Mi2 u Zagrebu pokrenuo je prvu "dj radionicu" u Hrvatskoj 2001. i bio suorganizator prvog Creative Commons festivala u svijetu "Sloboda Stvaralaštvu" 2005. Te godine započinje suradnju sa Draganom Pajićem Pajom i Mariom Kovačem na festivalu “Dani multimedijalne improvizacije”, a pridružuje se i skupini Impronedjeljci. Takođe djeluje kao glazbeni producent i dj promotor Creative Commons labela Egoboo.bits.
